SpeakApps

The online training for teachers of Dutch (FL / SL) is about to be concluded. In this training, teachers of Dutch learn how to use the SpeakApps tools themselves and how to create tasks for students who can practice their oral skills online. This course started in October and ends at the beginning of November.

In the last six months, SpeakApps has been presented at different conferences in the Netherlands and Belgium. The last presentation was at the conference of the International Association of Dutch Studies (IVNNL) in Antwerp.

On 26 September, the SpeakApps team invites you to take part in the event to celebrate European Day of Languages, which will be held simultaneously in five European cities: Barcelona (Spain), Dublin (Ireland), Groningen (Holland), Krakow (Poland) and Jyväskylä (Finland). El passat 2 de juliol, SpeakApps es va presentar a la 4t Congrés Anual sobre Educació i Noves Tecnologies Educatives, EduLearn 2012, que es va celebrar a Barcelona. Concretament, el projecte es va donar a conèixer en forma de presentació oral en el marc de la sessió dedicada a les innovacions en l’aprenentatge de llengües. SpeakApps was aanwezig op de tweejaarlijkse conferentie van de Beroepsvereniging voor docenten Nederlands als tweede taal, de BVNT2. De presentatie had de vorm van een proeverij, waarbij docenten kennis maakten met het project, het platform en de applicaties. Nadat de resultaten van de pilots van het afgelopen semester waren gepresenteerd, moesten de aanwezigen zelf taken bedenken voor de mondelinge productie en interactie online.

Op 16 maart 2012 presenteerde de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG) SpeakApps op de jaarvergadering van de NUT. De NUT is de vereniging van Nederlandstalige Universitaire Talencentra in Nederland en Vlaanderen. De jaarvergadering vond plaats op de Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA).

De presentatie over SpeakApps sloot aan bij de eerdere presentatie over spreekoefeningen in de klas van de UvA. Deze presentatie ging vooral over het oefenen van de mondelinge productie met het programma Conversations van CLEAR (Michigan State University).
